Bullying by students of students is prohibited in the school setting.
Students are encouraged to report incidents of bullying to school officials. Students shall report incidents of bullying to the building administrator(s) in each school. Refer to Student Policy 5153.5 -
All employees of the North East School District (in accordance with PA School Code) are required (by December 2016) to have obtained three hours of Act 126 training.
Employees are provided this opportunity through Safe Schools Training website.
The Board is committed to protecting the health, safety and welfare of its students and school community. This policy supports federal, state and local efforts to provide education on youth suicide awareness and prevention; establish methods of prevention, intervention, and response to suicide or suicide attempt; and to promote access to suicide awareness and prevention resources.
